The Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah has successfully contributed to saving 1510 patients, performing primary cardiac catheterization operations for them, according to the statistical report of the catheterization laboratory issued by the end of the first quarter of 2018. The region's health authorities said that work is currently underway to increase the number of cardiac catheterization laboratories to four. The Center currently has two heart catheterization laboratories equipped with the latest medical devices and provides 24-hour service throughout the week, and includes medical expertise in the specialties of cardiac catheterization for adults and children.
