Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen received here today Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Hameed, who presented his credentials as Maldives' Permanent Representative to OIC. OIC Secretary-General expressed willingness to work closely with the Maldives, in enhancing commerce, tourism, culture, sport and youth affairs, stressing OIC support to the government of the Maldives, in its efforts to achieve peace, stability and security. For his part, Maldives' Ambassador valued OIC role in enhancing relations among member states, within framework of the spirit of Islamic solidarity, stressing Maldives' commitment to continue cooperation with OIC.
