Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dajar met here today with US Ambassador to Yemen, Matthew Toler. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on the national scene and the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to discussing the international efforts exerted to move the peace consultations between the Yemeni parties. The two sides discussed the continuation of Iranian support for the Houthi militias by providing them with ballistic missiles, threatening international navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. For his part, the US ambassador affirmed his country's full rejection of Iranian interference in the affairs of Yemen and its continued support for Houthi militias and threatening the security of neighboring countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He said that his country will not allow threatening the security and stability of the region and the world, citing Iranian plots in the region.
