Holy Quran memorizers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in International Quranic contests during the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1439H. The General Secretariat of the local and international Qur'anic Contest of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance nominated the contestant Sultan Bin Ibrahim Al-Azmi from Hail, and the contestant Ahmed Bin Ayman Bitar from Makkah to participate in Turkey International Contest for memorizing the Holy Quran to be held during the period Ramadan 5 -15. The General Secretariat also nominated the contestant Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Sa'awi, from Qassim Region (Buraidah) to participate in Dubai International Holy Quran Award, which begins in the first of the Holy month of Ramadan and lasts twenty days. On the African continent, the contestant Saif bin Ali Alsni Al-Olayani, from Asir region, is preparing to participate in the 15th International Algiers Prize for memorizing, reciting and interpreting the Holy Quran in the last ten days of Ramadan. The Secretary-General of the Holy Quran Contest, Dr. Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Sameeh said participants in the international Quranic contests are owning to the good efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Local Contest for Holy Qur'an Memorization and Interpretation.
