Director of King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Dr. Abdulrahman bin Obaid Al Youbi, received here yesterday Director of Islamic University of Republic of Maldives, former Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohammad Hashim Ali Saeed and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation between the two universities in various educational, academic and research fields. Dr. Al-Youbi pointed to the readiness of King Abdulaziz University to provide various kinds of support needed by the Islamic University in the sisterly Republic of Maldives, stressing the two sides are currently seeking to develop a common mechanism to exchange experiences in different educational, academic and research aspects. For his part, the Director of the Islamic University of Maldives, expressed his pride in visiting King Abdulaziz University, especially as three ministerial portfolios in Maldives are assumed by ministers graduated from King Abdulaziz University.
