The Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Engr. Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Falih said that the countries participating in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and abroad have shown a higher level of commitment to the agreement on reducing oil production where the Joint Technical Committee announced in its report for March 2018 the level of commitment reached 149% making it the highest of kind since the start of implementation of the agreement. This came during the speech of the Minister Al-Falih at the 8th Meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Oil Production Control held here today. "The countries involved in the reduction of oil production have shown a commitment to seeking a balance in the global oil market where the levels of the OECD's trade stock have been adjusted from a peak of 312 billion barrels in July 2016 to 283 billion barrels in March 2018, a decrease of 300 million barrels." --More 01:30 LOCAL TIME 22:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1754675
