Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled "Peace in Yemen'' wrote that although United Nations Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffith has unveiled a plan to revive political negotiations in the next two months, what is happening on the ground does not confirm any desire from the Iranian-backed Houthi militias to follow any peaceful track that brings the country out of its long crisis. The paper noted that in his report to the Security Council, Griffith clearly pointed out that Houthi 's practices of intensifying operations targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles and military moves could destroy any peace negotiations in the future. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''The State of Qatar and the Mullahs of Tehran'' wrote that Qatar in its dirty works in the region, especially against its neighbors from Gulf states, have put it in great isolation. The paper added that there is evidence on Iranian regime's involvement in many internal affairs in Arab states, in addition to its malicious roles to destabilize the region, support and arm terrorist militias.
