Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial on Iran said that nearly 40 years after its alleged Islamic revolution, the world now confirmed that Iran had become the first state sponsoring terrorism and terrorist militias all over the world. The paper pointed out that the Kingdom had tried for years to make Qom Mullahs understand that the era of empires was over and normal diplomatic relations had never been established on interfering in others' affairs and inciting and sponsoring terrorist militias, citing the speech of Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir who stressed at Munich Security Forum that the problems of the Middle East began with the Khomeini revolution in Iran in 1979, where Iran had tried to destabilize Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon. On the same object, Okaz newspaper commented on Iran, saying that it is no longer possible for the international community to talk about any kind of diplomacy in dealing with the Iranian regime which continues to support terrorism, provides safe havens for terrorists, and arms chaotic militias in the region with internationally prohibited missiles, calling for isolating this regime so that it cannot play any role that undermines global security and social peace and threatens the international navigation, as in Yemen. The paper noted that the European-American coordination to isolate Iran took escalating dimensions this week after everyone had realized that it was time to move against the Iranian regime.
