King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) Assistant of Supervisor General for Planning and Development Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi has stressed that international crises and disasters are major challenges in the field of humanitarian action which requires the consolidation of international efforts and the importance of coordination to benefit from past experiences to avoid failures. This came during the first session of the Scientific Meeting on the International Relations during Crises and Disasters held in Geneva on 17-19 April being organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in cooperation with the University of Geneva and the International Civil Defense. Dr. Al-Ghamdi commended the experience of King Salman Center which has contributed to alleviating the sufferings of affected states, particularly in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Myanmar and other countries.
