One peacekeeper was killed when two unknown gunmen opened fire on a United Nations vehicle in northern Mali, the UN mission in Mali (MINUSMA) said Saturday. According to dpa, the vehicle was attacked at about 1900 GMT Friday in the city of Gao, where MINUSMA has stationed thousands of peacekeepers. "We are outraged that peacekeepers have once again been attacked," MINUSMA chief Mahamat Saleh Annadif said in a statement.
