Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Yemen Abdulmalik Al-Makhlafi has praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates in supporting the Yemeni people and their initiative to launch a comprehensive humanitarian response plan, citing Saudi Arabia's provision of $ 1 billion to support the comprehensive humanitarian response plan, as well as a deposit of $ 2 billion to reduce the deterioration of the Yemeni currency. In a speech at the Donors' Conference on Humanitarian Response in Yemen held in Geneva, Al-Makhlafi affirmed the importance of mobilizing the resources to fund Yemen's humanitarian response plan for the year 2018, amounting to $ 2.96 billion, to help more than 22 million Yemenis suffering from the crisis.
