The General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) has released the findings of the Housing Survey for 2017 implemented during 14/4 - 18/5/2017. The official spokesman of the Authority Tayseer Al-Mufarej said that the population of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to the results of 2017 Survey is 32,552,336 compared with 31,742308 in the demographic Survey 2016 findings with an average annual growth rate of 2,52%. The population is divided by sex into 57.48% males and 42.52% females out of the total population in 2017 and these percentages are close to those of the demographic survey 2016 findings, whereas the percentage is 57.44% males and 42.56% females. Also according to the survey, the Saudi population is estimated at 20,064,970 in the demographic survey 2016 findings with an increase of 343,392 peoples.
