Following fierce battles at the southern part of Sabr mountain which is overlooking the Yemeni city of Taiz, the Yemeni army, assisted with the popular resistance, succeeded to drive the Houthi militias out of several sites at Al-Shaagab area in the vicinity of the besieged city. The Yemeni news agency quoted Major General Khalid Fadhil, Commander of Taiz sector, as saying that the army, supported by the popular resistance, has purified Tabat Al-Saliheen and Al-Mash-hood in Al-Shaagab area, inflicting the Houthi militias and forces loyal to deposed president Ali Saleh grave human and material losses. He confirmed the army's determination to continue victories in the field to liberate Taiz province.
