As many as 56 vessels transited the Suez Canal today, with a total cargo of 3,300,000 tons. The north-bound convoy included 26 vessels laden with 1,600,000 tons while the south-bound convoy included 30 vessels carrying 1,700,000 tons, according to a statement by the Suez Canal Authority.
