Speaker of the Arab Parliament Dr. Meshaal bin Fahm Al-Salami hailed the historic visits of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to the most prominent capitals of global decision-making, London and Washington. In a statement today, Al-Salami said, "Saudi Arabia is best defender of the issues of the Arab and Islamic nation," adding that the Kingdom has a great weight and prestige in the eyes of global decision-makers. Al-Salami stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the greatest defender of the Palestinian cause and stressed that the efforts of the Kingdom to combat extremism and terrorism and to respond to negative interference in the affairs of the Arab world were strongly present in the discussions of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in his visits to these capitals. The speaker added that the Kingdom is addressing the danger of interference by the Iranian regime in Arab affairs, which is a flagrant aggression against the sovereignty and dignity of the Arab nation and a threat to Arab national security. He pointed out that the aim of these blatant interventions is to spread sectarianism and chaos in Arab societies.
