The Speaker of Arab Parliament, Dr. Mishaal Bin Fahm Al-Salami, will participate in 28th Arab Summit to be held in Jordan on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by the Parliament today, Dr. Al-Salami will deliver a speech at the opening session of the Summit reviewing the challenges and serious threats to the national security of the Arab nation, particularly continuing Israeli occupation of the Arab territories in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon; terrorist operations aimed at undermining the security and stability of Arab countries and societies; and the interference of the Iranian regime in the internal affairs of the Arab countries. The statement pointed out that Dr. Al-Salami will also review the documents, visions and recommendations issued by the Arab Parliament aiming to promote the Arab joint action and create unified references to legislations in Arab countries. It stressed the importance of Arab solidarity and the unity of Arab positions on major Arab and strategic issues and the adoption of unified policies, positions and decisions to address the serious challenges and threats to the security and safety of Arab countries and societies.
