The Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper, in its editorial entitled (We are Capable), wrote: "When His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud spoke to CBS about the Iranian nuclear program, he affirms that if Iran develops a nuclear bomb, we will follow suit as soon as possible, although Saudi Arabia does not need it because it is a country that calls for peace among the people and detests aggression, and interference in the affairs of neighboring countries. The newspaper noted that Iran's possession of nuclear weapons increases its threat to the countries of the region, adding that Iran was and still seeks to create chaos, stir unrest in the surrounding countries and expand at the expense of innocent people and exporting the revolution. Al-Youm newspaper, on the same topic, wrote: The Saudi solid policy has been able to send a loud blow to the Iranian regime in Iraq when the Kingdom worked to retrieve Iraq to be part of the Arab group after being taken over by the Mullah regime in Iran.
