Speaker of Arab Parliament: Extremism and Terrorism are Big Challenge to Human Rights System in Arab World

The Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr. Meshaal Al-Salami said that extremism and terrorism represent a big challenge to the human rights system in the Arab world.
This came in a statement issued today on the occasion of the Arab Human Rights Day.
Dr. Al-Salami said that the comprehensive Arab document to combat extremism and terrorism, issued by the 3rd conference of the Arab Parliament, has reflected the Arab parliamentary commitment to human rights issues in the Arab world.
Dr. Al-Salami condemned the blatant defiance of Israeli occupying power to the international law and resolutions of international legitimacy. He denounced the Houthi militia's violations of human rights against the Yemeni people.
