Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, participated today in the high-level international conference of the Countries of Africa's Sahel Region G5 held in the Belgian capital, Brussels. The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supports the Countries of Africa's Sahel Region G5 to combat terrorism and extremism, as an extension of the Kingdom's firm policy in the fighting against terrorism in all its forms whatever its source. The conference was held with the participation of 30 Presidents of Europe and African governments as well as five presidents of countries of Africa's Sahel region and the ministers of foreign affairs of the countries concerned with the support of the African Sahel countries. The Kingdom has announced a support of 100 million euros to contribute to the launch of the new joint force to combat terrorism in countries of Africa's Sahel Region during the month of December last year.
