A delegation of Indonesian Newspapers Senior editors visited here today Riyadh-based Saudi Press Agency. During the visit, they exchanged views on the areas of bilateral cooperation in the media affairs and ways of enhancing and developing them between the two countries. The delegation toured the Agency's sections and was briefed on its multi-media activities and its news mechanism, especially with regard to news reporting in the English, French, Prrsian, Russian and Chinese editorial and publishing section, the Computer Technology Center, the Media Training Center, photography and TV Production Section. The delegation expressed appreciation of the efforts exerted by the Saudi Press Agency's staff to improve the output of the Saudi media in addition to moving towards new horizons and working diligently to keep abreast of developments and changes in its tools and performance. The delegation includes Andy Buny, editor-in-chief of the English-language Jakarta Post, Irfan Ganidi, deputy editor of Republaca newspaper and Ban Bang Pronto, deputy editor of the Indonesian news agency.
