Foreign Minister Announces Kingdom's Allocation of $1 Billion for Projects of Iraq Reconstruction and $500 Million for Financing Saudi Exports to Iraq

Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, who are keen to stand by Iraq in all its crises and contribute to restore its normal situation, Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced here today the Kingdom's allocation of $1 billion for projects of Iraq reconstruction in addition to $500 million for financing Saudi exports to Iraq.
This came during Al-Jubeir's participation in Kuwait International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq under the patronage of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Addressing the conference, Al-Jubeir delivered a speech in which he affirmed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince's keenness to support stability in Iraq.
