Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed that the minutes of 1st meeting of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council, which was co-opened by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prime Minister Dr. Haydar Al-Abadi of the Republic of Iraq, in presence of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, was signed today to establish Saudi-Iraqi council, considering this council as a first, important and historic step to enhance relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq in various fields. Al-Jubeir added that the US Secretary of State met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, in addition to extended meeting with him yesterday and today where they discussed a number of important issues pertaining to the Middle East's peace process in addition to the situations in Syria and Yemen as well as Iranian threat to the region.
