Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar has had talks with Norwegian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Oyvind Stokke, it was reported here today. During the meeting, which took place yesterday, they discussed the most important developments in the investment and economic fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aspects of cooperation and ways to encourage the private sector in the two friendly countries. The Norwegian Ambassador was briefed on the programs and plans currently being implemented in the Kingdom to create an attractive and appropriate environment for foreign investments. He was also briefed on the most important programs and plans of SAGIA within the framework of the Kingdom vision 2030. The two sides then reviewed the procedures and facilities provided by SAGIA to companies wishing to invest in the Saudi market, as well as the most important investment sectors targeted by the Kingdom, in coordination and cooperation with the relevant government institutions.
