Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is set to take part, in the two-day meetings of 41st session of the Governor's Council of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in Rome on 13-14 February. The Assistant Secretary Gen. of the GCC for Economic and Development Affairs Khalifa bin Saeed Al-Abri is to lead the GCC delegation to the gathering. IFAD, the UN related agency, meetings will discuss various issues, during the session, mainly investment in the sustainable rural economies, climate change, food security position reports and nutrition, all over the world.
