Yemeni national army loyal to internationally recognized government led by President Mansur Hadi liberated a strategic position, located at the Rahnaq Mountain, at the Maqbanh battle front, to the West of Taiz, recapturing it from the grips of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias and chasing them out. The national army surrounded the mountain, since the dawn of Saturday, and managed to totally liberate it from the armed Houthis, Col. Hameed Al-Khilaidi said. In a press statement to the Yemeni official news agency, he pointed out that battles have been raging between the army and the forces loyal to the coup, resulting in killing 10 Houthis and wounding another 15, concluding that the remainder of the militias have fled, following the woeful defeat, at the hands of the national army, in skirmishes that were raging, through the day.
