Jordanian-UN talks on developments in Iraq

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi discussed in Amman today with the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq and the head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq Jan Kubis the latest developments in Iraq and the role of the United Nations Mission in the Iraqi government's efforts to rebuild and achieve national reconciliation.
Safadi stressed during the meeting the importance of the victory achieved by Iraq against "Daash", stressing that the security of Iraq is a cornerstone of the stability of the region.
