Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on the interview on Tuesday by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, saying in its editorial titled "Optimism Speech" that the Deputy Crown Prince spoke about all matters of concern to citizens including economy, politics, security, and the Kingdom's relations with other countries, and enhanced the homeland citizens' trust in their economy and their future, as the vision has already worked in the first stage of the National Transformation Program 2020 to complete the scene by the Kingdom's giving up dependence on oil. Al-Youm newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "Vision Is Ambition Not Corruption", writing that the Deputy Crown Prince in his speech to MBC on Tuesday has stressed the importance of the Kingdom's ambitious vision 2030 and the importance of the National Transformation Program, which together represent the Kingdom's entry into a new economic world, in which the Kingdom depends on the localization of industry and the creation of alternatives to income other than oil.
