Saudi Arabia's handball team qualified to compete in the World Cup championships, for the 9th time, following qualifying to the semi-finals of the 1st Group, in the Swan city, in South Koras. The Saudi squad beat the Omani team 26-20, to move ahead with the South Korean team to the semi-finals as well as the World Cup championships, set to be played jointly in Germany and Denmark, in 2019. Saudi national team and its South Korean counterpart will be pitted against each other, on Wednesday, to decide the leading team of the group and the runner-up.
