The Saudi-Pakistani Joint Committee concluded here today, workings of the 11th session, co-chaired by the Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi and his Pakistani counterpart Mohammed Pervez Malik. The session workings have focused on discussing various issues of common interest, especially in the domains of economy, trade, energy, education, culture, science and research, health and consular affairs, according to the final communique. Among the decisions of the meetings, was an agreement to hold an economic gathering for businessmen from both countries, in the Kingdom, during the current year, in addition to easing of visa issuance for them and revamping Saudi-Pakistani Joint Business' Council. They also agreed to boost cooperation with oil and gas companies, in order to explore opportunities, in the energy domain.
