Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers commented on Iran, saying Iranians have finally broken the barrier of fear to overthrow Khamenei and free themselves from the complex of the impossible through mass popular demonstrations that swept Iran to demand overthrowing Khamenei and Hassan Rowhani, noting that it is an internal uprising that reflects years of injustice, oppression, poor living conditions and a deteriorating economy, while the terrorist regime has been tampering with the country's capabilities and resources and exploiting them to disseminate chaos, sedition, terrorism and ideology in other countries. The papers indicated that demonstrations in Iran came as a result of accumulations of decades during which the people have lacked the elements of a decent life, and suffered from bad economic situations, oppression, torture and murder, while the regime has spent billions of dollars on sectarian wars abroad where thousands of people killed in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
