Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh arrived here today to take part in the 11th periodic meeting of the Speakers of Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States under the patronage of Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait and in presence of GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. At Kuwait International Airport, Speaker of the Shura Council Al Al-Sheikh was received by Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly; Saudi ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez and a number of officials. The meeting aims to discuss issues pertaining to joint action among the GCC states in the fields of legislative councils.
