Majlis Al-Shura Participates in AIPU Conference

Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah opened here today 20th Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) under the patronage of the Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait with presence of Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura.
The two-day conference, entitled "Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine," was opened by Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
In his speech, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, Speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly, warned of Israel's schemes aimed at fomenting seditions among the Arabs affirming the nation unity is necessary to improve its current deteriorating condition.
