Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum, Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers commented on the situations in Iran, saying that the escalation of demonstrations in various Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran, for the fourth day in a row and the deaths and injuries of dozens of people during protest marches, confirm that the Iranian people can not afford the tyranny of the Iranian regime, especially as demonstrators chanted for the death of their leader Ali Khamenei and the elimination of their executioners who have confiscated their freedoms, dignity and capabilities. The papers noted that what is happening in the streets of Iran is not only due to high prices, rising living costs and unemployment, but to the regime's determination to waste the vast Iranian wealth on terrorists and mercenaries everywhere to wreak havoc and destruction in the region and Arab countries.
