Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers commented on the third anniversary of the King's pledge allegiance, saying that the Kingdom celebrates today this anniversary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with optimism for a bright future and a prosperous era, who has achieved in a short period many accomplishments at internal and external levels. The newspapers added that from the first day of the pledge allegiance, the King has launched huge projects for comprehensive reforms, upgrading the efficiency of the state's institutions and promoting the younger generation to the positions of leadership and responsibility. The papers pointed to many achievements accomplished in the King's prosperous reign during the past three years including combating corruption, achieving justice and integrity, optimal employment of human and economic potentials and empowerment of women in various fields.
