The Deputy Minister of Education for Girls Affairs, Nora bint Abdullah Al-Fayez has affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved during a few years gigantic accomplishments at internal and external arenas. "The Kingdom has occupied through these achievements an influential world position in international decision-making," she said on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), she noted that during his era, the King has been a pioneering leader of moderation and dialogue with others, indicating that through his expertise and leadership skillfulness, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has achieved comprehensive and distinguished accomplishments in scientific, economic, social, health and intellectual fields. The Deputy Minister of Education for Girls Affairs said that the foremost interest of the King has been education for which he has allocated the largest budget in the state and planned a unique project "King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for Development of Education", noting that the King has patronized and followed up the project since its inception. She indicated that during the King's era, the number of Saudi universities increased from 8 to more than 20 universities including Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University for Girls.
