Executive President of Dammam-based King Fahd International Airport (DAC) Turki bin Abdullah Al-Ja'awini inaugurated a new duty-free market, at the airport, which will be operated by a world company, in the presence of a number of officials, private sector executives and businessmen. The modern built market spreads over 1400 square meters and resembles the heritage of the Eastern Region. It will feature as many as 300 world recognized trademarks, exempted of customs' tariffs and will be committed to world free markets' policies, as its sales will only be made for passengers, at the airport, because sales' transactions require scanning of a boarding pass, as applicable in all international class airports, all over the world. Opening a new world class duty-free market, at the airport, Al-Ja'awini remarked, is a significant step to provide passengers with a better experience, as commercial services resemble a main interest for passengers, pointing out that the duty-free market will furnish a new concept for retail industry, by putting at the avail of clients many options to buy, in addition to being operated with the best quality standards.
