We'll Fight Trump Decision Recongnizing Al-Quds as Capital of Israel, Relocating his Embassy to It, AL Chief Said, Vowing to Maintain Al-Quds Arab Image, Preserve its Historical, Religious Status
Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Ahmed Abulgheit emphasized that the practical response to the latest unjust U.S. decision, related to Al-Quds, is to consolidate recognition of the Palestinian state and to widen the domain of such a move, demanding the U.S. to rescind that prejudicial and unfair decision. Addressing a Pan-Arab Parliament extraordinary session held here today to discuss the fallout of the U.S. President Donald Trump decision to recognize Al-Quds as capital of existing occupying state of Israel and to relocate the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the controversial holy city, he vowed that "we will pursue every possible path to fight the fallouts of that decision, maintain the Arab image of Al-Quds and preserve its historical and religious status". The latest Trump administration decision is "overtly condemned, completely outrageous and unacceptable," Abulgheit stressed, as he was concluding his speech.
