King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center team has inspected latest preparations for the delivery of food, medical and housing aid to the Republic of Burkina Faso scheduled over the next two weeks in presence of Saudi Ambassador to Burkina Faso Dr. Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi and Minister of Women, National Solidarity and Family Laure Zongo-Hien Laure Zengo Hain. The provision of this assistance to the Republic of Burkina Faso comes in implementation of the Royal Decree and within the humanitarian role being played by the Kingdom represented by the Center to support needy countries . In a press statement, the Minister of Women, National Solidarity and Family expressed her deep thanks to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for their initiative in responding to the request of the Burkinabe government to support needy people and distinguished roles in helping and assisting the Government and people of Burkina Faso following the famine and floods that swept the country last year.
