In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide assistance to the Republic of Burkina Faso amounting to 200 tons of foodstuffs, a Saudi plane carrying on-board the first batch of foodstuffs weighing 100 tons arrived at Ouagadougou Airport in Burkina Faso yesterday. The plane was received by a number of officials, and Saudi Ambassador to Burkina Faso Zaher bin Mu'tesh Al-Anzi. The Saudi Ambassador commended the King's stances towards the Islamic world and his interest in its issues, as well as the provision of assistance to the needy people in Burkina Faso. For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of the Republic of Burkina Faso Jibril Bassole expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for its assistance to Burkina Faso, which comes within the framework of Islamic solidarity between peoples and governments of the Islamic world.
