The Inaugural Meeting of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Ministers of Defense Council will be held in Riyadh under the theme "Allied Against Terrorism" on November 26, 2017. The meeting will be attended by IMCTC Member States' defense ministers and the diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom. The meeting aims to consolidate bonds of cooperation and integration within the coalition and represents the effective beginning of the IMCTC efforts, which included 41 Islamic states, to coordinate and unify efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism in addition to integration with other international efforts. The coalition was established to coordinate and unite their efforts in key areas of ideology, communications, counter terrorism financing, and military domains, in order to fight all forms of terrorism and extremism and to effectively join other international security and peacekeeping efforts
