Yemeni Information Minister Moammar Al-Eryani stressed that the coup militias seek to destroy the historical and cultural heritage in Yemen. In his speech at a forum titled "Yemen: Civilization and History ... Current Situation and Future" held at European Press Club in Brussels, the Yemeni Information Minister accused the coups stealing monuments and destruction of libraries and historical works in addition to confiscation and burning of manuscripts and rare books. He added that the militias change curricula in a sectarian way. Al-Eryani has lauded a role played by the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in rescuing the Yemeni people and helping the legitimate government to address the Houthi militias supported by Iran.
