The Saudi Cultural Attaché Mission in India organized yesterday a seminar entitled "Modern Arabic Poetry in the Kingdom". The cultural attaché in India, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shatawi said that the seminar was part of the activities of the mission to highlight the cultural aspects in the Kingdom in the context of the growing interest in Arabic language and literature in India. He welcomed researchers in the library, which includes titles of books of contemporary literature to take advantage of them. Al-Shatawi referred to the understandings with the heads of the Arabic language departments at Indian universities to consider the possibility of introducing a selection of Saudi literature into their curricula.
