The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed that there are no indications that the Iranian regime intends to address the injustice and oppression being suffered by Arab Al-Ahwaz and the confiscating of their Arab identity and civil rights, pointing out that Iran seeks to distract the world's attention from the dire situation of human rights in it by creating chaos and destabilizing security and stability in the countries of the region and spreading the discourse of hatred and sectarianism. This came in Kingdom's statement this week at the United Nations commenting on the situation of human rights in Iran, delivered by the Acting Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Dr. Khaled Manzlawi. He said that the Iranian people have reaped the fruits of their government's hostile policy toward the world, instead of exploiting its financial revenues in developing of the country, Iran has used them to ignite strife outside its geographical borders and supported terrorist operations around the world and destabilized the security and stability of neighboring countries. --More 12:49 LOCAL TIME 09:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1681358
