Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum Newspaper said under the title "The importance of Iran's implementation of the nuclear agreement" that the Kingdom's statement delivered by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations yesterday at the 72nd session of the United Nations, focused on an important pivotal point related to the significance of verification over Iran's implementation of the nuclear agreement and the re-imposition of sanctions against it in case of its violation of its obligations under the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of the international legitimacy, it is widely known that Iran is still evading the provisions of that agreement and turning blind eyes to them. The paper added that the international community should give this issue a particular importance in light of the Kingdom's commitment to the provisions of the Charter and the principles of the United Nations as two cornerstones of its foreign policy promoting international security issues, since the possession of nuclear weapons threaten the stability, security and sovereignty of the States all over the world. Okaz newspaper said under the title "The futility of the United Nations", noting that many questions are on the table before the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres over his failure towards the Yemeni issue along with humanitarian and relief aid since he took the office, in addition to his false claims against the coalition forces which seek to restore the legitimacy to Yemen after being manipulated by Iran and Al-Houthi and ousted Saleh coup militias. The paper added that the misleading report of the United Nations reveals that it deals with this issue without integrity which negatively affects this international institution in many issues and situations.
