Since its inauguration by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid has provided 161 projects worth US $ 710,534,133 to Yemeni Governorates in various fields including relief, humanitarian aid, sheltering, sanitation, agriculture and water in cooperation with 85 international and local partners focusing on projects for children and women and support for Yemeni refugees in Djibouti and Somalia. In the area of food security, sheltering and camp management and coordination, projects have reached 60 amounted to US $ 264,186,949 benefiting 22,164,337 people through 26 partners. Education, protection and early recovery programs totaled 18 projects valued at $ 78,846,278, benefiting 3,915,336 beneficiaries through 13 partners. As for communications in emergency cases, logistics and humanitarian coordination projects, the Center has allocated 10 projects benefiting 15,112 beneficiaries through 3 partners amounting to US $ 56,510,970 The Center has been commended by heads of state, community leaders, international and regional organizations working in the fields of relief and humanitarian services.
