The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa met here today with Italian Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of Arab and Islamic Affairs Vincenzo Amendola, in the presence of the Advisor and Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Bureau and the Arabian Peninsula, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, Amendola lauded the efforts of the (MWL) and the importance of its role in the active contribution to the promotion of positive citizenship among the Muslim communities, in the world, including Italy, noting that the Italian government seeks to open new horizons of cooperation with the Islamic world through those who take the approach of moderation, to take advantage of their experiences in the field of communication and peaceful coexistence, which is the best solution for the problems of some Muslim minorities. For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa said that (MWL) aims, through its renewed message, to promote civilized communication among peoples in order to achieve more co-existence, tolerance, humanitarian, moral cooperation and overcome the obstacles of intellectual and racial extremism.
