Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper wrote about Qatar, saying it seems clear that the continuing pressure on Qatar by the four anti-terrorism countries which submitted to Doha their reasonable demands to contain its support for terrorism began to bear its fruit and it will push Doha to change its misconceptions about those demands, as there is no way out of the crisis except by meeting these logical demands being supported by the international community and all countries loving security and stability. Al-Riyadh newspaper wrote about Qatari Emir's speech, saying when the speech was announced on Friday, we expected it to be the beginning of the end to the crisis, but it was not.
