King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has launched a project to distribute 1,000 tons of dates to support drought-affected people in Somalia. The ceremony was held at the port of Mogadishu City, in the presence of Assistant General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid Maher bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hadarawi and a number of Somalia officials. Al-Hadarawi said, in a press statement that the center will deliver aid to more than 360 thousand beneficiaries of the needy and affected in Somalia, adding that this aid is an extension of the Saudi Arabian support for Somalia people.
