The Arab League on Sunday strongly condemned the "terrorist" attack that struck the heart of the British capital London on Saturday, leaving scores of people dead or injured. These attacks underscore the "barbarity and viciousness" of individuals and organizations that espouse terrorism and extremism, quoted the Arab League's Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit as saying in a statement. He urged the international community to act in unison to overcome the scourge of terrorism. The Arab League's chief also extended his deepest sympathies and condolences to the people of Britain over the tragedy and wished those wounded in the attacks a speedy recovery.
