The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the whole Muslims, all over the world, on the advent of Ramadhan, a month-long compulsory fasting season for all adult Muslims. At the outset of the speech, the King cited a number of Quranic verses explaining the Al-mighty wisdom behind ordering Muslims to observer fasting, during the a month-long period, then he expressed thanks and gratitude of Allah for blessing Muslims with such an august month for worshipping and contemplation. King Salman, also, remind Muslims of the commandments of our Prophet Mohammed, Peace and Blessing be upon him that Muslims are like an human entity, whenever a part of it feels the, no doubt other members will share the burden of fever and fatigue, at the expense of their convenience, recalling the role played by the Kingdom, since the time of the founder King Abdulaziz to best serve Muslims and to close their ranks and adding that that a noble goal will persist, forever. Concluding his speech, the King recalled a recently held Arab-Islamic-American summit as a testimonial of the Kingdom resolve to synergize efforts, in order to eradicate extremism and terrorism, in all forms and manifestations, henceforth saving the humanity of their mischief and evils, adding that the inception of a world center to combat extremist thought is in line with that goal and to prove that Islam is a religion of mercy, moderation and acceptance of co-existence.
